How does the 90-day free trial work?
Create your site and use either plan free for 90 days, long enough to run a full season of rotas through it. No payment card is needed to start, and if Clocked isn't for you, your data exports cleanly as CSV.
What hardware do we need?
On Starter, none: you print a QR sign and put it on the wall. On Professional, any modern tablet works as a kiosk, iPad or otherwise; a decent one costs less than a single replacement fingerprint scanner. Staff use their own phones on both plans.
Do our staff need to install an app?
No. Clocking in happens in the phone's web browser after scanning the QR code. There's nothing to download, nothing to update, and it works on iPhone and Android alike.
What counts as a site?
One venue: one zoo, museum or centre, with as many staff, entrances and (on Professional) kiosks as you need. Unlimited staff is included on every plan because attractions staff up seasonally.
How does Clocked prevent staff clocking in for each other?
On Professional, the kiosk's QR code is cryptographically signed and changes after every scan, and each clock-in is confirmed with a one-time code shown only on the kiosk screen. Combined with one registered phone per person, clocking in for someone who isn't there becomes more effort than just turning up.
What happens if our internet goes down?
The kiosk keeps generating valid codes entirely offline, and staff phones retry automatically until the punch is recorded. Anything captured while the kiosk was offline is flagged in your reports so you can review it.
Can we export our data?
Yes. Attendance summaries export as CSV designed to drop into payroll systems and spreadsheets. Your data is yours.
